"Lost in EGYPT"

egypt.jpg

As many of you probably already know; Brad has only just recently returned from Egypt. Where he had been shooting for 12 days for a exhibition that COSI is putting on in the summer of 2009. While we haven't even begun to start to go through all of the remarkable images that he shot over the course of the assignment. Brad has gone through and pulled out 160 or so images and created a slideshow that we have posted online. To see it simply click here.

Mmmm....beer

Being the avid beer drinkers that we are, we couldn't help being just a little giddy about photographing the Boulevard Brewing Co.'s newly expanded bottling and distribution plant in Kansas City, MO. Boulevard Brewing is actually the largest independently owned and operated mico-brewery in the United States. With the addition to their existing plant, they are taking their production from about 100,000 barrels a year to over 700,000 in the coming years. That's a lot of beer. By the end of the shoot, it was all Brad could do to pry Andrew away from the sampling room. He recommends the Unfiltered Wheat but if you happen to be there in the fall, Bob's '47 is definitely the way to go!

Wexner Center for the Arts

We were recently commissioned to photograph the renovated Wexner Center for the Arts on The Ohio State University's campus. The university just completed a major renovation of the space, originaly designed by Peter Eisenman. Due to scheduling restrictions between exhibitions, we had a very limited amount of time to in the space. Given the images we came back with, I'd say we work well under pressure. Below is a small sample; look for more images soon on feinknopf.com.
